In the GEM-E3 model emissions are calculated endogenously using emission coefficients per fuel use or economic activity as well as abatement technologies per pollutant. Hence, several indicators relevant to air pollution and health are quantified. Such indicators include emissions and concentration of air pollutants, health impacts, crop impacts, VOLY, DALY, health expenditure, labour productivity loss. |
