Bioenergy - WITNESS

Coupled with the Land use model than handle unmanaged land use (barren lands, deserts, unmanaged forests...) and managed land (agriculture and crops, managed forests...), some bioproduction can be used for energy production.

A non exhaustive list of that include methanation of biomass residuals, transesterification production of biodiesel, managed wood or unmanaged wood or direct biomass combustion ...
